75 years of AA in Philadelphia
AA in Philadelphia will be 75 years old in March 2015. Plans have been finalized for the big birthday celebration for AA on Saturday, March 7, 2015. The 75th annivesary event will have limited Parking and Seating so please car pool or take public transportation. The event will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and Paul at 18th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway at 2 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2015 for the meeting celebration and at 4 pm for food, fun and fellowship (limited space in hall). All monetary contributions, please send to: "75th AA anniversary in Philadelphia" and mail to C/O 75th anniversary Treasurer at P. O. Box 34024, Philadelphia, PA 19101.
Also, look for big PECO signage on March 6, 7 and 8 to state "Happy 75 years for AA in Philadelphia!"
Follow up recap meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 7 pm at the SEPIA office, 444 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia.

SEPIA Archives Committee CELEBRATES "Philadelphia 5 County AA Carries the Message" on SATURDAY, MARCH 21 from 9 am to 1 pm, Come join in to see how AA was introduced to Europe as well as Fort Lauderdale, India, Wilmington, New Jersey, Up-state PA and Western PA and England. Scones, soda bread and bewley's tea will be served and food donations accepted.

Sunday, March 22 - the CHESTER COUNTY ZONE PRISON COMMITTEE is sponsoring a workshop from 1 to 3 pm at the Chester County Youth Detention Center, 501 S. Wawaset Road, West Chester. Come learn about how the Prison Committee helps carry the AA message behind the walls and listen to presentations by former inmates, prison officials, and a discussion about current issues. HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
SEPIA is always in need of volunteers to help carry the message of recovery. You simply have to show up. Most committees do not have a length of sobriety requirement. There are several ways to get involved.
