MANDATORY VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION TRAINING
SPECIAL NOTICE for anyone who takes commitments to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF): Effective July 1st, 'orientation' is required for all who are taking commitments to this facility.
The next orientation is:
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2014 from 7 pm to 8 pm.
You MUST RSVP to reserve a space in this training to the following people:
Failing to register will NOT reserve a spot for this training.
Failure to attend this training will prevent you from partiipating in any of the volunteer programs. If you have already attended the first orientaion, you do not need to attend this one. Pease remember that this is a MANDATORY orientation for Montgomery County. Your clearance will be removed if you do not attend one orientation.
Held at the MCCF Work Release Building. If you do not attend an orientation, you cannot take a commitment to this facility. Currently we have 6 different commitments for men and 2 for women on 5 different days for a total of 35 commitments per month to this prison. If we don't attend an orientation, the commitments will be canceled. Please help to not let this happen. Please RSVP and attend this orientation.

Wednesday, October 22 - the next PLANNING MEETING for the 75th Anniversary of AA in Philadelphia will be held at the SEPIA office at 7 pm. All are welcome to help plan this event..
NEW CLOSED AA ARCHIVES MEETING - on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm at the SEPIA office - a taped closed speaker meeting with 1 or 2 long-time AA members. All AA members are welcome to attend. If you have over 20 years of continuos sobriety and want to be taped, please contact Brian Q (Archivist) or one of the Archives committee members. Call SEPIA office at 215-923-7900 and the office will pass your name and information out to the committee.
ARCHIVES WORKSHOP PLANNING MEETINGS: the Archives committee is working dilingently on planning the 18th Annual National AA ARCHIVES WORKSHOP that will take place in King of Prussia on October 10 to 12. Planning meetings are held at the SEPIA office on the following dates and times: Sunday, September 21 at 11 am and Saturday, October 4 at 11 am. All are welcome!

Tuesday, September 30 - the HANDS OF HOPE meeting at 8 pm at Grace Chuch on Gowen and Ardeigh Streets in Mount Airy will have a hearing impaired interpreter at this meeting. The group would like to bring back the service of having an interpreter at each weekly meeting if there is a need for this service. Please bring anyone you know to this meeting to support this service to our hearing impaired members.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
SEPIA is always in need of volunteers to help carry the message of recovery. You simply have to show up. Most committees do not have a length of sobriety requirement. There are several ways to get involved.
