AA in Philadelphia will be 75 years old in March 2015. Plans are underway to have a big birthday celebration for AA on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Planning meetings are being held now. Come on out to help plan this big event. Next Planning Meeting is Thursday, November 20 at 7 pm at the SEPIA office. All are welcome to come help. Actual event will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter and Paul at 18th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway at 2 pm on March 7 for the celebration and at 4 pm for food, fun and fellowship, Monetary donations are needed at this time so please send checks payable to "75th AA anniversary in Philadelphia" and mail to C/O 75th anniversary Treasurer at P. NEW CLOSED AA ARCHIVES MEETING - on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm at the SEPIA office - a taped closed speaker meeting with 1 or 2 long-time AA members. All AA members are welcome to attend. If you have over 20 years of continuos sobriety and want to be taped, please contact Brian Q (Archivist) or one of the Archives committee members. Tuesday, October 7 - the HANDS OF HOPE meeting at 8 pm at Grace Chuch on Gowen and Ardeigh Streets in Mount Airy will have a hearing impaired interpreter at this meeting. The group would like to bring back the service of having an interpreter at each weekly meeting if there is a need for this service. Please bring anyone you know to this meeting to support this service to our hearing impaired members.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
SEPIA is always in need of volunteers to help carry the message of recovery. You simply have to show up. Most committees do not have a length of sobriety requirement. There are several ways to get involved.
